A. Alfred Taubman
A great identity project by Brooklyn based design agency Franklyn. Working with Sotheby's, the team created a flexible identity system to showcase the incredible art collection of the late owner and philanthropist, A. Alfred Taubman. The inspiration came from the mid-century modernist aesthetic, with hints of Bauhaus style, simple colourways and geometric typographic shapes.
"With an eye towards showcasing the legendary artists represented in the sale, we created an identity system based on wildly flexible custom typography inspired by the mid-century modern aesthetic Mr. Taubman loved."
