Berlin-based artist Sebastian Bieniek created the series ‘Doublefaced’, featuring portraits of a girl with the illusion of two faces. The artist splits the face of the women into two by drawing on each side of her head with eyeliner and lipstick. The images of the dual-faced girl are eye-catching as well as confusing. It almost feels like she is the result of an awry experiment, wandering through the city, pictured in different public and private spaces. Duality and illusion are the main subjects of this clever and fun series.
